The shift log · 2026 — four roles, one tool

If it fits in a photo, shenshen can read it

Invoices are just the start. Labels, whiteboards, receipts, screenshots, handwriting, anything on a screen. One engine reads it, straightens it, and returns structured fields. No templates, no per-format setup, no list of supported files to check.

The document on your desk, one day at a time

Each card is a day from a real desk. The document on the left is what landed there; the fields on the right are what shenshen hands back.

Receipts to rows, without the double entry

It's the 28th. The drawer is full of receipts and the sheet is still waiting for numbers. I've typed these totals twice already.

The offer's signed. Now the details go into the HRIS — then into a second system, then a third. Same facts, three times.

Forty cards, zero typing

Great day at the expo. Forty cards in my pocket and a CRM waiting. Someone gets to type them all in.

Screenshots become sortable data

The customer pasted a screenshot instead of a CSV. The numbers live in the image — and you can't sort an image.

FIG·04 — Fixed before it reads

Recognition that fixes the photo before it reads it

The photos your team takes aren't clean scans — they're desk, pocket, and phone-screen photos. The photo gets fixed before reading starts.

Crooked, not broken

A receipt shot at an angle on a desk gets deskewed before reading. Rotation and perspective are corrected first, so lines stay straight.

Glare and glossy screens

A laminated card in bright light, or a phone screen with a reflection — the glare pass removes it before the recognition pass starts.

Low light, fine print

A dim photo of a contract is upscaled and sharpened before parsing, so fine print isn't the reason a clause goes missing.

FIG·06 — Role by role

Role-by-role questions

Finance — will it work on a messy expense receipt?

That's the intended use. A receipt folded in a wallet, shot on a desk at an angle, gets deskewed and de-glared before reading — so the total comes out as a number you can sum and the date as a date you can sort.

HR — can it handle offer letters and intake forms?

Yes. Printed and digital documents — offer letters, intake forms, candidate details — come out as labeled fields, ready for the HRIS instead of being typed twice.

Sales — how do business cards get into the CRM?

Snap the card, review the fields, and export as CSV or send via the API. Name, title, company, email, and phone come out separated — not one block of text to reformat.

Support — what happens when a customer sends a screenshot?

The table comes out as spreadsheet rows with columns preserved — something you can sort, search, and attach to the ticket as data instead of a picture.
